Boating

- Unlimited horsepower motors are permitted in this 2,000 acre lake.
- Six boat launching
ramps are located around the lake. Launch 50 yards from Bayview
- The North Shore marina provides fuel, boat and pontoon rentals.
- Seasonal docks and daily dock rentals are available. Information is available at Bayview.

Fishing

Anglers will enjoy excellent catches of bass, bluegill, crappie, saugeye, white bass, and catfish.
- A wheelchair accessible fishing pier is located on the southeast side of the lake.
- Hunting is permitted
in designated areas. A valid Ohio hunting and/or fishing license
is required.

Swimming, hiking and other activities

- Swim at two large public beaches. Walk or ride your bike to the beach behind Bayview.
- Hiking trails take visitors through cool woodlands, scenic gorges, moist wetlands and an excellent
bird watching observation station.
- Enjoy a round of putt-putt golf while the kids play at the playground.
- Come back to Bayview and enjoy ice cream from our store.
